The women of the Former Soviet Union are not only some of the most beautiful I have ever seen but they are also some of the most educated, talented, and loyal women I have ever had the pleasure to meet (most know the history of their city and country and can recite it on cue). Walking into a club in Ukraine is like going into the Playboy Club Europe without all the plastic and attitude; and 90% of the patrons are single women, many of which are looking for eligible men.  Now that we’ve got the superficial part of it out of the way let’s talk about something more concrete and relevant.  Most Ukrainian and Russian women seem to have one thing in common; they are just looking for someone to love them for a lifetime.

Now I realize that I am painting with a pretty broad brush here and not all Russian and Ukrainian women are of the type that I have just described, but having been involved, in one facet or another, in the search for Russian ladies since 2002 I can say with conviction that most of the Russian women that I have met and introduced my clients to have been that type.  Again, it is inaccurate to say that all Russian women are of this type or that, but if you know how to effectively go about your search, where to look and what to look out for, Russian women of the type that you have heard about, beautiful, approachable, kind, caring and attentive with traditional values and views on gender and family, can be found in abundance.   

 Why don’t they just find a man in their own country?

Typically, Ukrainian and Russian women are raised from birth to be monogamous wives and mothers, devoted to only one man for a lifetime. So, you might ask then “What is the problem?”  Why don't they just find a man in their own country?  Well, it's like this:  First of all, everything I have read says that the women 18 and up in the FSU slightly outnumber the men percentage wise so considering the number of people there this is a fairly significant number.  So, from purely a numbers standpoint it is already a difficult proposition for these women.  Second, the Former Soviet Union has only been a free market economy for just over 15 years, so many of the men have no job or none that would enable them to support a wife and or family.  Third, some of the men take out their frustrations over not being able to scrape together a living out on their woman physically, not to mention some are alcoholics! I think that it is a shame that many of these women will spend their lives alone... But this is also true when it comes to western men. So what these ladies really want is a good man from any country that will respect her and want to raise a family.
